Vice Chair and Chief Administration Officer

Terry Dolan is vice chair and Chief Administration Officer of U.S. Bancorp. He is responsible for the strategy, marketing, digital product capabilities and financial management of the company. He has been with U.S. Bank for 26 years. Prior to becoming the Chief Administration Officer, he was the Chief Financial Officer for nearly seven years and the vice chair of the wealth management and securities services division from 2010 to 2016. He was responsible for the wealth management division, brokerage activities, corporate and institutional trust, custody and mutual fund services.
Before becoming a vice chair at U.S. Bancorp, Terry was executive vice president and Controller with a variety of roles including leading the organization’s accounting functions, corporate development, and the community development business investing in economic development projects, alternative energy and affordable housing.
Prior to joining U.S. Bancorp in 1998, he worked with Bank One Corporation in Columbus, Ohio, where he served as the chief financial officer of its retail bank consumer lending division. He also worked with that organization’s marketing team developing customer segmentation and product strategies and served as an executive for Bank One’s Investor Services Group. Prior to this, he was part of Ernst & Young’s financial services practice.
Terry attended the University of St. Thomas, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Terry has served on a variety of community boards and industry related boards such as Artspace Projects, Inc., the MN Opera and the College of Saint Benedict Board of Trustees and Catholic Charities.
