Amy Pinkley

Amy is the new Event Logistics Coordinator at KTM. She graduated from the College of Idaho with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and was a two-sport athlete in soccer and softball. After being diagnosed with breast cancer at 20 years old during her sophomore year, Amy developed a passion for cancer research. In 2022, she also completed treatments for papillary thyroid cancer. Amy completed her cancer treatments with St. Luke’s Cancer Institute, where she received incredible care from a wide variety of staff members. Amy worked for St. Luke’s for nine years in several roles, but most recently as a Pediatric Care Coordinator for children with complex medical and mental health needs. Since diagnosis, she has volunteered much of her time to work with and advocate for the cancer community. She enjoys mentoring newly diagnosed patients and helping them understand the complex nature of treatments and what may be ‘the new normal’ while teaching them how to stay positive and not let it defeat their spirit. Amy is excited to join KTM to continue raising awareness for all types of cancer, as it has affected many members of her family, friends, and community.
